So I created my own clothing line, Survivors at War. Right now I’m just selling shirts but I’m hoping to add more clothing options in the very near future. I started this line shortly after my suicide attempt because I needed something to make me feel okay about being alive. Survivors at War was created for those of us that live with a mental illness and fight everyday to not give up. It’s for anyone who has overcome anything in life but knows the fight is never over. It’s for the people. I’m hoping to bring awareness to mental illness more so in the black communities because it’s not talked about enough.
