Stoney Littleton Long Barrow Interior, Somerset, 30.12.17.The interior of the long barrow contains five chambers for the dead. The long barrow is incredibly well preserved and very little restoration work has taken place inside. The stones contain many fossils of shells and even in poor light they can be discerned. The cavities of the chambers are small and the passages low; for a moment or so I felt very close to the ancient past. -- source link
