I think the most amazing part of living a life of seasons is watching yourself change through them.
I think the most amazing part of living a life of seasons is watching yourself change through them. This photo was taken a year ago by my friend @maestier. The windows were open that day and it felt like an early spring. Of course we saw another snow, but it was the feeling I needed that day. We opened a bottle of wine and welcomed the spring-like weather with open arms that afternoon. ⠀⠀That afternoon we talked about a girls gathering that happened about 6 weeks later. My life has shifted and grown since this time but then in other ways it hasn’t. I still am writing, trying to define what I am intended for. I am stronger and continually clearer in my pursuits, which is the most I could ask for when it comes to the passing years. These days I find pleasure in things I couldn’t allow myself enough space to do so because I thought I could do more than I needed to. ⠀⠀This spring feels so exciting to me. I am watching our world outside of our new home reveal itself much like I feel I am seeing a calm in myself I have never really felt comfortable with. I am learning how to find peace in less and the joy in enough. Life is better than it was a year ago and that alone is far more than I could ever ask for. http://ift.tt/2GJi5gF -- source link
