The late Cynthia Myers was born on this day in 1950. Playboy’s Miss December 1968 was a favorite among Vietnam GIs, perhaps due to a resemblance to large ammunition. Myers played one of the leads in Russ Meyer’s Beyond the Valley of the Dolls (see her in pics with Marcia McBroom and fellow Playmate Dolly Read). She also accompanied the Apollo-12 astronauts to the moon, in Xerox form, with the caption “Don’t forget—describe the protuberances.” Indeed, one would not want to forget to do that. Sadly, Cynthia died in 2011 of lung cancer. — #cynthiamyers #beyondthevalleyofthedolls #playboy #playmate #apollo12 #schlitz #centerfold https://www.instagram.com/p/CTvpIORs-_c/?utm_medium=tumblr -- source link
