Hello today is some sort of #NationalMuttDay so I obviously have to tell you all about my amazing mutts. Max is a 2nd generational hand me down mutt. Bred from a bully of a dad and an absent mother. Husky/Malamute combined forces for a snow loving creature. Maeby is a possible 3rd generation cast off. Puppy in the shelter. Freak in the streets. Given up because of her wandering ways. They’ve captured my heart and I’ve seemed to capture theirs. We work through our issues all the time with love & patience. Them more so with me. But hear me now. Don’t feel pressured to rescue a mutt. They are a lot of work and often come with hefty vet price tags. They are a choice. If you do please allow them time to integrate into your family & environment. Follow the Rules of 3s. It will typically take 3 months for a dog to feel comfortable in your home. My heart is so full because of M&M though.
