emajarian:Day 28 - HauntingI was starting to get art block so I decided to experiment.I was really disappointed by Bly Manor. I love Hill House but in this case the original novella and 1961 film pack more of a punch (in a big way if you agree with some of the interpretations). Plus, as a Brit, the terrible accents rendered it basically unwatchable tbh.I live near where they shot this scene in The Innocents, can’t wait to go again in Spring, though it may be less spooky by then -- source link
