Bryn y Mor Stone Head, Oriel Ynys Mon, Anglesey, 24.10.17. Discovered whilst rebuilding a dry stone wall in the 1950s, this substantial artefact was created from a single boulder of coarse sandstone. Its round shape suggests that it was meant to be viewed from all directions. It has proved to be very elusive to date; some features suggest a Romano-celtic deity or symbol but it also seems to possess detailing such a flat base and a support hole that suggests a possible Medieval date. -- source link
