ed-draws: Equally Objectified: Witchblade*I actually really, really enjoyed the Witchblade…well…everything- The comic, the television show (Chokachi butt!!) the anime and the manga. Witchblade was my jam in the 90′s and early 2000′s. I love the tough NYC cop uses ancient artifact to defeat supernatural evil premise, and for the most part, Michael Turner’s (R.I.P.spect) awesome drawing style. However, dear Gods, that was a stupid costume. Stjepan Šejić did an amazing job de-sexifying Turner’s original design (especially in his webcomic Switch) but for the most part, Witchblade is depicted with more coverage on her knees than on her breasts, making her a prime example of an unnecessarily sexy character. -- source link
