roseone223: Kuroko moved quickly up the stairwell, his eyes glued lazily in front of him as he stepped up onto the third floor landing. “Ah! Kuroko!” the breathy voice called from below, bouncing up the stairs along with a loud clatter of steps. Kagami leapt two stairs at a time to catch up to the smaller man. At the top, he paused to breath for a moment before righting himself, realization dawning on him as he tacked on a hurried, “Sensei.” “Kagami-sensei.” Kuroko nodded to him in acknowledgement, his face remaining neutral. In the main hall around the corner, he could hear quiet chatter as staff and students moved through their morning routine, unaware of the two. The taller man surged forward, shortening the space between them. Tentatively, he reached for him, his hand brushing against Kuroko’s own. Long fingers ghosted over his palm, drawing a minute shiver from him. Kuroko twisted his hand slowly as Kagami’s touch lingered. His digits edged closer to return the favor, pressing against the top of his wrist before sliding down slowly. Kuroko traced over long arching bones down to rough knuckles, the pads of his fingers falling into a familiar pattern as he followed along each faded scar with practiced precision. After a moment, he felt the muscles beneath the skin tense as Kagami flipped his hand. Kuroko ran his fingers along the calloused palm presented to him before moving down once more to feel the rough skin of each long finger. Slowly, Kagami’s fingers flexed, curling in to hook around Kuroko’s wandering touch loosely. An easy smile spread across his face at the calming feel, “I’m going to be busy grading test all weekend if you want to come by. I’ll cook for you.” Kuroko felt a small smile ease across his features as he relaxed into the warm touch, “I’d love to join you. I’ll bring my own papers to work on.” A greeting shout from the hallway startled both men out of their daze. Kagami swayed closer, his gaze focused tensely on the corner. After a breath more and a quick squeeze both men allowed their free hands to fall away. Kuroko moved first, turning away to step into the crowd and schooling his face back to neutral. Kagami fell in step behind him as he rounded the corner, his cheesy grin returning as a warm tingle buzzed across the skin of his hand. *Shows up a day late with Starbucks* But seriously, I’m extremely sorry for the wait! This is my part for the KagaKuro Exchange for @blue-spectrum. Your prompts were so good, I spent a little bit flipping back and forth between a couple but I finally settled for English teacher Kagami and Literature teacher Kuroko secretly flirting at school. I hope this is acceptable and I’m sorry again for the wait! @kagakuroexchange -- source link
