yoonbum-in-drag:sinnohsregion:yoonbum-in-drag:sinnohsregion:yoonbum-in-drag:sinnohsregion:Gee golly I love not whitewashing characters! That’s considered double standards. If someone is harmlessly making their Sally black, then people can harmless draw their Travis light or white skinned. If anything it’s hypocrisy to call whitewashing when you don’t get pissy at people who color a light skinned character dark and call it black washing. It doesn’t erase the characters canon characteristics. It’s not done out of spite on either sides. Black washing dhsjjsjsj wowAlso why should I listen to someone who likes Killing Stalking lmaoI’ve seen it done to a lot of Hispanic characters in fiction, I’ve seen it done to light skinned minority characters. So yes, you’re a hypocrite for pointing out “whitewashing” when you approve of black washing a canonically white character. If either is done out of harmless artistic and or personal choice, that’s fine. The double standards are outstanding though, if not just you wanting to virtue signal and ruin peoples fun in creating fandom content. If you won’t listen to me because I enjoy KS, a fictional story, then you’re just a very narrow minded nut who’s not open minded at all.Killing Stalking is a disgusting but go off I guessOkay…? Yeah, it is, so…? Sally Face was pretty gross too from what I remember. Still loved it, found it fascinating, the characters are cool. Disgust is subjective when it comes to fiction, what disgusts you might intrigue me, what disgusts me might not you. Disgust isn’t a good enough reason for me to actually care, or others too for that matter– just because some people find the horror genre disgusting, it still exists. I actually love horror but I don’t appreciate something that is meant to be fetishizing gay men and also it’s abusive and gross like do you even hear yourself -- source link
