And both shared a love for Mexico, where they lived and worked together from 1923 until 1926. In this time was Mexico an exciting place for artistic activity and social reforms. Modotti and Weston’s relationship was never easy. Weston returned to California in 1926 and Modotti stayed in Mexico and became polical active (Communst Party). In this period of their lives they explored their photographic skills. And Tina Modotti became also a very known photographer.Tina Modotti and Edward Weston are two of my favorite photographers and occupy an important place in the history of photography.
