And Morgoth came”.Fingolfin challenges MorgothI put off painting Fingolfin for quite some time - he’s so great, I was afraid I couldn’t do him justice. But today I felt brave. So here we go…I tried to twist a bit the iconic view of Fingolfin’s back and a giant Morgoth in front of him, as I wanted to capture that instant before the actual battle, with Fingolf’s eyes shining like the eyes of the Valar, “for a great madness of rage was upon him”. -- source link
