Today we’re visiting our good friends at the Mercer and Fonthill Museums in Doylestown, PA (just a 30-minute drive from Glencairn). We snapped this photo from the very top of Fonthill Castle. Henry Chapman Mercer, who built Fonthill, and Raymond Pitcairn, who built Glencairn, shared an interest in history, handcraftmanship, and castle-like homes.
