More BLACK HOLE WIZARD demon/wizard doodles. I think being shown Legend at a very young age somewhat corrupted my concept of “demons”; i struggle to make them anything but sexy, in a very exploitative and sleazy way. To me, the Faustian aesthetic is irrevocably tied up in sexual predation, in ways that are difficult to fully articulate.of course it didn’t help that my writer put in a bunch of gratuitous and totally inappropriate demon-tonguing in the panel descriptions. that’s on your head now, Simon. you wrote it. you can’t take it back. demon/wizard is canon.so my point is that all these demons are too nice-looking and you can see me just starting to mess with grosser, more alien forms around the edges there when i ran out of room. -- source link
