This past spring I found a couple Corpse Lily Amorphophallus titanum bulbs at a local garden centre, could not believe I found them and decided to go for the Olympic Gold in gardening…the 10 year commitment to try and get these bulbs to flower. The 2 big ones were as small as their babies when I planted them in spring, by the time I get to 10 years with them, they should be about 50 lbs each, and will hopefully have enough stored energy to throw up that incredible flower. Second photo is of it’s awesome leaves, they’re quite showy, almost every person that say it had to ask what it was (planted with the begonia).I was not expecting so many baby bulbs the first year pretty excited about that, and open to sharing! 2 are spoken for, if anyone wants to give this plant challenge a go, PM me and I’ll send you a bulb! -- source link
