USA RoadtripI get super car sick so as a result I’m sleeping half of the time I’m on road trips. I love them but I just don’t think I’m built for them like everyone else. Once I’m out of the car is when road trips turn magical, I try to capture this short feeling through my images. I took a roadtrip from Miami, FL to Los Angeles, CA with my boyfriend this summer. We ended up driving through the gulf coast to New Orleans having to go through hurricane Harvey. Went through Austin just to eat a ton of vegan food then Roswell to ufo hunt. After a week we finally made it to the only place we wanted to see in LA, our new home. This was the first time I moved away from home, so it was pretty awesome getting the keys to our own place. In my 6 months of living in LA I’ve met people a lot of new friends, which is where some of these other photos come from. Recently I took a road trip to Death Valley, it was short and sweet. Within these images you can really see the intimacy you have with the people around you when you’re on a road trip, the long periods of silence, good conversation and bad conversation puts learning about someone on hyper drive. I feel like when you take a roadtrip with people it can make you great friends or make you sick of each other real quick. Luckily I can also say so far it’s strengthened my friendships.-Nas Nixx -- source link
