As much as Japan is a beautiful country that I love living in, no country is immune to corruption and darkness.I am sickened and saddened by the story I heard from my pal Ogun (pictured above, shot by me, his idea to be amongst the flowers last spring). Ogun is the sweetest and gentlest soul I’ve ever met. Words cannot describe the physical illness I felt reading his email to me about what happened to him in Japan a few months ago. He is trying to spread his story, and I want to help get his story out there. It has been taken down on several sites he has tried to post on.If you love something you can’t ignore it’s flaws. It needs to be addressed, We need to be AWARE that this is happening to innocent people, to be INFORMED with what’s going on so we can initiate CHANGE.read the story on his tumblr here: 16 DAYS WITHOUT SUNLIGHTplease be aware there are lots of trigger warnings in this story. molestation, kidnapping, abuse, wrongfully imprisoned… this shit is insane. Please help Ogun bring justice to Japan, spread his story and don’t be blind to the injustice that is happening. This can’t continue. -- source link
