awesomeabduction: Homeowner tied up, robbed during a home invasion near Memorial City Mall BUNKER HILL, TX (KTRK) – Police are searching for the three robbers who stole silverware, furs, art, and jewelry after terrorizing a homeowner during a Friday afternoon home invasion near Memorial City Mall. The Bunker Hill Police Department says the homeowner was tied up and robbed at gunpoint around 3pm Friday at a home on Red Coat Lane. They think these same robbers are tied to a handful of similar armed robberies in both Houston and Spring Valley. Police say the homeowner opened the door for a man pretending to be delivering a package. The suspect, armed with a silver handgun, forced his way into the home and locked her in the bathroom. A second suspect then joined and together they went through the house. The suspects returned to the bathroom and forced her to open the safe and they stole jewelry, and an undisclosed amount of cash. They then tied up the homeowner before escaping in a white late model Ford Explorer. Police now are asking neighbors to keep an eye out for suspicious activity and warned the suspects should be considered armed and dangerous. -- source link
