I wanted to share a few photos from my wedding for #tbt today. Every table at our reception had a centerpiece that focused on a specific artist. I wrote biographies for each artist which we placed in a double frame next to a (self) portrait of the artist. Each table had a unique vase of flowers at the center, and next to this we put a framed picture of the artist’s most famous work or our favorite of the artist’s work. Our reception was designed to be spatially open so that guests could walk around to look at tables that interested them or go visit with friends. We wanted our guests to take a piece of art (and our wedding) home with them, so at the end of the day, they could choose to take any floral arrangement, framed artwork, and/or artists’ biography that they wanted for their house. Thank you for listening to me reminisce about a truly wonderful day! -- source link
