sorryunknownlover:We set to do a performance on The Voice and I had had a really strange relationship with some of the audience and I had performed without me like a year ago with Jade Bug and we did like a contemporary dance and a a lot of the audience freaked out and they were like ‘what is this lesbian stuff on my tv during primetime?!’ I’m like, it’s 11pm your kids should be in bed but fine, anyway. And so i was kind of nervous to go back on the show and do nightmare and I was like i feel like people aren’t gonna get it, I feel like that same audience is gonna freak out and I had this moment of like that’s why I need to do it. It’s not about the people who are going to be pleased who are gonna get it but the people who’s maybe minds I can change. -- source link
