the waking world. a quote from bloodborne that surprisingly has an impact on my life due to personal interpretations, and a lesson taught over and over to me by various people.  “may you find your worth in the waking world.” → “you may not recognize your own worth now, but you will eventually discover it. no one is there to take it away from you.” with lessons taught repeatedly, it makes me wonder how patient others will have to be in order to see my own growth. someone like me, who struggles understanding what i mean to others and to myself, tend to have excessive fragility when such a bold statement declaring my worth to the world and those around me is stated. it becomes a question of repeating “am i really worth something?” and seeking evidence or answers to prove it, even when the truth is already there. it can then become a fool’s errand, trying to seek these pieces of evidence rather than having faith in the statement.  twitter | ig | commissions | store | ko-fi -- source link
