learn to love yourself nowadays, iv'e noticed that there are more and more people who give away all their time and love to others and forget to leave some for themselves. people tend to forget that it’s essential to fall in love with the most important person in your life; yourself. it doesn’t matter whether or not you learn to love yourself before, after, or while you’re with someone. but whatever the case, it’s crucial that you find time to remind yourself how great you are, because once you start to love yourself, you start to realize that no one’s opinions or thoughts about you matter at all. stuck at home and get the sudden urge to wear that new skirt you bought? even if you have nowhere to go and the only one who’ll see you all dressed up is yourself, you shouldn’t let that stop you! go ahead and wear your best heels and that new top you’ve been dying to wear. apply your darkest shade of lipstick or the brightest one you have. wear mascara and put on some eyeliner . curl your hair, straighten it. heck, you could even just wear your PJ’s. wear something that you feel great in. then look at yourself in the mirror and say ‘damn…i look great’ and mean it, because you do. buy yourself some new expensive clothes. know that it’s alright to spoil yourself sometimes. buy a new bag, you prbably need it anyways, finally buy those shoes you’ve been eyeing for weeks. get yourself a whole new wardrobe, if you want. you deserve only the best. eat out alone. sure, having friends with you and some good food is great, but so is being able to sit alone at a cafe or a restaurant, while you treat yourself to all that food you’ve been craving. take time to observe the people around you in between sips of coffee and enjoy the quiet and alone time. it doesn’t mean you’re lonely when you’re alone (yes, i did just use kelly clarkson lyrics). go to the cinemas on your own. laugh at all the funny parts and come up with inside jokes that only you will ever understand. remind yourself everyday of how amazing you are and what a great job you’re doing as you. even if it’s something as simple as remembering to water the plants or being able to hand in your homework on time. tell yourself that you deserve the best, because you do. be kind and stop insulting your body. your body does such a good job!! think of all the times you got sick and your body helped you recover, your body is your friend and what kind of friend would you be if you insulted it? call your tummy cute. eat healthy. exercise. love yourself, i mean, who could do it better than you? - kyra x -- source link
