Dostana: A tale of two straight guys pretending to be gay? It’s a story, that for the first time in Bollywood, takes homosexuality out of the closet.  However, It’s a movie based on pure entertainment full of false stereotypes, and offending lines, that seem to work in the best interest of the film.  It’s definitely not a movie, you would quote, at a gay rights protest.   Sameer and Kunal, two straight men convince Neha, that they are a gay couple to rent her apartment, they both fall for her, while she falls for her boss, Abhimanyu.  Contrary to what many think, Dostana is not a tale of gay vs straight, nor is it a love story…Dostana, is all about Friendship! (Let the title speak for itself!) Priyanka Chopra looks gorgeous in this movie! From her hairstyle, makeup to the way she walks and talks, everything about this girl, makes us drool in this movie.  Speaking of drooling…um…John Abraham, in those short trunks was an umph factor, and I personally could not get enough.  However, best character in this movie, was Abishek Bachan. He was funny, charming, and while he’s not as hot as his co-stars, there was something about him, that just made him sexy! Shilpa Shetty looked years younger, Bobby Deol was alright, Boman Irani and Kiron Kher were dramatic and amazing!  The soundtrack has music, for every mood, from the upbeat, shut up and bounce, to the mellow Kuch kum, Every track is just as amazing as the next.   Overall, it’s a fun movie to watch, if you watch it without being offended now and then.  It’s purpose is to entertain which it does.   Hit: 8/10 -- source link
