donamoeba:[Translation] Free!DF Spotlight Color: Makoto Tachibana - InterviewInterview questions based on Question & Answer.- I’d like to ask you more questions in detail regarding your answers in the Q&A section! Well then, thank you for being here with us!Thank you for having me.Q1- You don’t think about your own personality much? No… oh, but, Haru kind of calls me a “softie” or a “backseat driver” quite often.- And do you agree with him?Hmmm… I’m not really aware of it myself. I thought I’m just acting normally… but I used to take care of my younger sister and brother a lot when I was a kid, so maybe a little of my behavior from then came through.Q2- So is living on your own quite difficult, after all?Rather than difficult, it’s more like there’re many things that I’m not used to… I couldn’t even buy foodstuff properly. Also, I messed up my laundry at the beginning.- What happened? My cardigan became all stretched out and stiff. When I asked Haru for advice, he told me I had to handwash it, and that I must add fabric softener. I didn’t know anything about them, so I really thought that Haru was amazing.- Did Nanase-san teach you anything else?Yes, he’s teaching me a lot about cooking. Since the community pool where I work part-time at is close to Haru’s apartment, I’d stop by before I go home. He has taught me cooking before during high school, but it didn’t work out at that time… Now… I can cook fried eggs. I’m now able to fry them without breaking the yolk…if I try really hard!- Are there any new challenges that you want to try out at university?I’m interested in nutritional science for competitive swimming.Q3- How you spend your off days is quite interesting…Now that I’m a university student, there are more and more reports and lots of research to do, so I go to the library. As for Haru and Asahi, since they’re busy with club activities during weekdays and it’s difficult for them to catch up on their schoolwork, they go with me, too.- What are you studying at university?I’m a freshman, so my curriculum is focused on general academic subjects. Right now, Haru and the others are at the stage where they’re all choosing similar subjects as mine, so we help each other out. Things like English, it’s been an ongoing struggle since high school… actually, I also have a report that’s due tomorrow… I’ll do my best…!- Do you hang out and have fun with friends?Let’s see… oh, just a while ago, I went to the aquarium with Haru! Haru wouldn’t move from the deep sea creature area, I didn’t know what to do at all. That area was dark and creepy, I didn’t really like it… but Haru was happy that he saw the real-life version of this bonus character in a game, so I guess it’s fine…Q4- It’s definitely something that all boys dream of!Ahaha, it’s kind of embarrassing. In the past, I quite liked manga and games, and as kids Haru and I would copy their moves when we played together. Haru used to hold a twig in his hand and jump off the fence, hehe. I have a younger sister and a younger brother, so even now, I still sometimes play superhero with them, but I’m always the bad guy who gets his ass kicked…Q5- So lately the thing that interests you is…cat cafe!?I thought it’s amazing how Tokyo has cafes with cats in them, and I wanted to give it a try. Speaking of which, Toono-kun said that he goes to cafes often, maybe I should ask him if he has any recommendations for cat cafes.- Didn’t you have cats in your hometown? The cats at Iwatobi would steal fish the fishermen caught at the harbor, or mess up the opened fish drying in the sun. They were quite mischievous lol. Apparently the cats at the cafes don’t misbehave. They are such good cats.Q6- You think a lot about your family and friends, and your students. You are really caring to people, aren’t you?Huh? Hmm…I guess so. I never really thought about it. Since they are all so important to me.- So you like manga and games, too, but you don’t think about them much?Ah… I guess when it comes to fun and games, it’s like they’re included in my thoughts for family and friends. Even with gaming, single-player RPGs are interesting, too, but I like party games or competitive shooting games more, where everyone gets to play.- Do you like the game you mentioned just now, too? That’s Haru’s favorite game. But Haru doesn’t own a game console, so he always plays it at my place. It’s a game where you create a town in the deep sea, there are many installments in the series, it’s quite fun.- Well then, thank you very much for your time today. Lastly, can you tell us what your goals are for the future?Well… it’s embarrassing to be formally asked about it… I would like to work hard in both my studies and my part-time job!- And we will be cheering for you. Thank you so much!Thank you very much!(image courtesy of heyfuturefeesh) -- source link
