Pampers Interview with newest Diaper ambassador, from the Nickelodeon show “Game Shakers”, actress, singer and model Madisyn ShipmanPampers: We’re here with Maddie today, our newest Pampers ambassador, Maddie we have to ask, what is your diaper story?MS: So I’ve always been intrigued by diapers, like since I was a little kids. I have younger siblings so throughout my teen years there were diapers around the house all the time. I always wondered what it would be like to still wear them and stuff. I was so busy with acting and my career I was stressed, and wondered what it would be like to just be a baby again sometimes. I did a couple of times when I was a teenager steal a couple of my brother’s diapers and try them on. They were so cute and adorable. I even wet one. But eventually he got potty trained and I was so busy I kind of moved on.Pampers: Doesn’t look like you’ve moved on too much…MS: Well…. yeah. (She looks down at the Pampers Cruisers Retro Size 8 she is wearing). Right around when I turned 18, I heard that you guys were bringing on some diaper wearers that were around my age, like Maddie, and making bigger sizes for them. I didn’t know anyone my age still wore diapers, but I guess it is a bigger thing than I thought, especially at night. I immediately was interested. I went to Target and they didn’t have the bigger sizes yet so I bought a box of Cruisers size 7, and they fit pretty well. I was hooked!Pampers: How often do you wear Pampers?MS: Well, I’m 24/7 now, but I’ve only been for a month or so, I at first only wore when I had alone time or whatever since I still live with my mom and my siblings, I didn’t want them to know. It was my little secret.Pampers: How did that change?MS: I mean, as diapers have become more and more of a thing I finally decided it was normal enough where I could just tell my mom. I came downstairs one day with a diaper under my shorts and told her I needed to tell her something. I asked her if she had saw the commercials with Maddie and Kendall and she said she did, and I told her I liked wearing diapers too and showed her the wet one I had on. She told me she already knew I had been wearing them and was glad I was being open about it. She took me to my room, changed me into a new one, and I’ve been just about 24/7 ever since.Pampers: Both #1 and #2?MS: Of course (with a chuckle).Pampers: I see you’re wearing our new release, the Pampers Retro, in a size 8? What are your thoughts?MS: These Pampers with the Sesame Street characters are the ones I fell in love with when I was a kids. They are super cute, and these fit perfectly. I have boxes of these in my room, they are my main diaper now.Pampers: Any thought about potty training any time soon? We’ve been working on new larger sized Easy Ups training pants?MS: (Right on cue, Maddie squats and starts grunting just a little bit. Her visible diaper starts to sag in the back and the wetness indicator changes colors in the front.)Pampers: I take that as a no?MS: I’ll try the easy ups.
