greedygardener:I grew Montserrat tomatoes for the first time last year and they were a revelation. I’ve eaten them in their native Catalunya in North East Spain where they were delicious but fresh and warm from the plant they reach another level. Pinkish in colour and mild and sweet in flavour, they are served thinly sliced and dressed with a little salt and olive oil, perhaps oregano. Nothing else is required for a stunning plate of food, apart from some crusty bread to mop up the juices, a glass of chilled rosé and a table in the sunshine.Looks and sounds incredible!
