Subs not used: Klaesson, Hjelde, Drameh, Greenwood.Leeds United progressed into the fourth round of the Carabao Cup after a penalty shoot-out victory over Fulham at Craven Cottage, in front of 5500 very vocal away fans.We started the game with an interesting line-up and a particularly strange central defensive pairing of Charlie Cresswell and Kalvin Phillips. It was great to see four of our young guns take part and demonstrate that they’re good enough.It was an open game with plenty of chances at both ends. Fulham had a considerable height advantage and always looked dangerous from set pieces. We were marginally the better team but it was a disjointed performance from Leeds. Our final ball and finishing were woeful and we faded in the second half. Meslier also had to be alert on several occasions to keep a clean sheet. He saved the eighth Fulham penalty in the shoot-out (after both sides had missed twice) to win us the game…. -- source link
