Last week we began a series entitled #WFHArchives that puts a spotlight on the work being done by SWC employees from home. This week, we hear from Reference Archival Associate Weston Marshall.“The digital age has allowed us to continue to serve our community and promote learning. Our resources have been minimized and patrons can no long access physical material at this time, but it is inspiring to witness the resourcefulness of researchers. There has been a concerted effort to help others find information related to their topics of interest through the use of digital archives like our own. The exchange of knowledge has not ceased and people continue to be interested in history despite these uncertain times. I have used this period to broaden my knowledge of archival practices and spend a little more time on individual research requests. My furry coworker is Achilles, and he likes to take long naps during working hours.” -- source link
