Starting a new original series with this piece. At first I thought to make this with female characters all over again, as it seems that sometimes people tend to ‘gravitate’ more towards that style. But then I thought it would be refreshing and a challenge as well to do a complete series with males this time. It will be interesting to work on the seasons that are usually associated with brighter and lighter colors, such as spring and see how I manage to pull that off.Anyhow, at the same time I’ll get more practice painting portraits and male characters as well. I tried to stick to a bit calmer color palette + brighter accent color this time. Programs: SAI, some after edits with PS. -- source link
