Finally got around to doing a quick little bio on HIna, my second Jujutsu Kaisen OC!HinaAge: 5 years old (in 2018)Gender: FemaleBirthday: September 20, 2013Height: 100 cmSpecial grade sorcererCursed technique: Marble (until I think of something better)Hair colour: lavender Eye colour: light pink Hina’s story begins at an orphanage in the countryside outside of Tokyo. She was brought there a year prior by her parents who could no longer handle having a daughter who can see curses and had manifested a cursed technique (not that they know what those are anyway). The other children avoided her and orphanage staff only provided minimal amounts of care for her once she started to speak of the strange invisible things she saw and pointed out. Hina’s cursed technique, Marble, is one that lets her concentrate cursed energy in the palm of her hands, locate a target and releases it to spread, trapping her target that is within a 10-metre radius of her. Once her target enters into that 10-metres while Marble is activated, they are unable to escape and will be sucked into a marbleized form. Hina must destroy these marbles for the curse to be exorcised or she can hold onto them for as long as she wants. She can also do a reverse technique that can release targets, however it takes a lot of cursed energy to do so, so she can only do so once a day. One day, a particularly strong curse appears at the orphanage. Jujutsu sorcerers are called and the orphanage is evacuated under the pretense of a gas leak. Hina is left behind in the rush to evacuate and is on her way out when she is confronted by the curse. Luckily, Mari (fresh from a 16-hour sleep and free from jet lag) appears on the scene. However, Mari doesn’t even get the chance to draw her sword as she watches in awe as Hina uses her cursed technique to seal the curse away and crushes the marble. Mari, stunned by the strength of Hina’s technique, takes her to Gojou, who is controlling the situation outside and explains what she saw in the orphanage. Both Jujutsu sorcerers agree to take Hina under Gojou’s guidance at Jujutsu Tech. Hina, for two months, lives on campus at Jujutsu Tech before Mari returns to Japan and becomes her guardian. She learns to hone her technique and learn to control it better with the help of Gojou and becomes very much loved by the rest of the students. Once Mari returns, Hina lives with her in a spacious apartment by the Jujutsu Tech campus and attends a kindergarten nearby, allowing her to experience a relatively “normal” school life. -- source link
