My ongoing Pokemon mood also led to freshening up the art for my+husband’s self-insert Gym Leaders, Charlotte (from “char”) and Spencer (from “spectre”). Back in college we had started a “self-insert gym leaders” project where we’d all make characters that looked like ourselves and train up teams and such. It mostly fell apart and only a handful of people actually followed through with either half of the thing but ah well so it goes :P Given a fresh choice nowadays I’d probably actually pick Fairy or Grass for myself but I’m too attached to Charlotte to change that, haha. Might one day make some not-self-insert type trainers for those, though. -- source link
