There are two main mistakes I see CONSTANTLY in the diet/weight loss industry: 1. Cutting out carbs 2. Under eating / cutting out too many calories (1200 calories and under) ••••>>> carbohydrates is our bodies preferred fuel for our brains and muscles. Ever wonder why you feel foggy, can’t concentrate and forget things when you’re on a low carb diet? ••••>>> under eating makes your body CLING to fat because it goes into a conserving mode and in this mode, our bodies burn fewer calories because it wants to hold onto the energy and nutrients it needs to survive (also resulting in lowering your metabolism.) . Im guilty of under eating, especially the last couple months. So im working on bringing my calories back up to balance out my body. So that means super awesome filling, nutritious breakfasts! as a momma I need my energy and balanced moods to keep up with a very active tiny human.
