So you guys may know I’ve been torturing myself on Discord watching those awful Buddies movies so naturally I took it upon myself to re-imagine them to be less shitty in terms of personality and design. They’re all named after something related to the sports they play. And as for their personalities…Dribble (ex-B-Dawg) is a shy aloof basketball player who can still stand his ground when the situation calls for it. In a way he’s kind of like a male Fluttershy. Huddle (ex-Budderball) is the compassionate supportive football-playing oldest sibling who serves as the morale of the group. He’s also a bit of a glutton like his canon counterpart. Kicker (ex-Rosebud) is the cheerful hyperactive one of the group, though she can also be quite assertive when it comes to standing up for her siblings.Pitcher (ex-Buddha) is the smartest and most grounded of his siblings, none of this racist Buddhist stereotype bullshitAnd lastly Spike (ex-Mudbud) is the bratty volleyball-playing tomboy of the group who loves looking for new challenges. And yeah I made her a girl to even out the ratio of male to female charactersAlso are we not gonna talk about how Buddy literally had a whole separate litter of puppies in the original Air Bud films that the Buddies movies never brought up again ok -- source link
