eliezera: Shalach Manos in the Snow On the Jewish holiday of Purim, Jews are obligated to give gifts of food to each other (“sending portions one to another” Esther 9:19). These gifts, colloquially called shalach manos, are often delivered by children dressed up in costumes. Usually Purim is in the early spring and reasonably warm, but this year we got hit by a big snowstorm on Purim day. -- source link
