Ed Phumora is an Indonesian photographer , who is especially skilled in portraiture. Ed rigorously respects all the rules of fashion photography and at first glance he doesn’t seem to break convention. The model’s pose is stiff, the color pictures don’t shine with neon effects or have powerful contrast, and the black and white ones are quiet and maybe too static. But like any artist who carefully doses his efforts, he surprises us with a series of pictures called “editorial 1” witch I personally clicked with and I felt satisfied to understand he knew what he was doing. In the aforementioned selection are a few pictures in witch he collaborated with designer Laura Hui Shan Li and it is because of this collaboration that I explored Ed’s world. -- source link
