The Laos Communist party puts enormous pressure on the small Christian minority. Christians are seen as enemies and believers must take extreme care when talking about their faith for fear of harassment, eviction and even arrest.Jik’s* family was the first family in her province to believe in Jesus. After her husband was sentenced to prison for 13 years, Jik learned that God had chosen her to serve Him in her province. Many people across the province came to know Jesus and a lot of ministries were started. Jik now leads more than 62 churches. “I wasn’t preaching the Gospel, I just believed and had faith in God and people saw it in my life.
