hmsindecision:Please don’t go to this person’s blog. It’s full of porn. But here is a super lesbophobic person angry at me for talking about domestic abuse as a lesbian. Does he not think that men abuse lesbians? Because hoo boy, they do it all the time. You don’t have to be attracted to men to be a victim. And does he not think there are straight and bi women in our lives that are the targets of male violence? My sister? My girlfriend? Many, many others?Honestly this reads as kind of raped, kind of victim blaming, and someone who needs to stay the hell away from lesbians. He think that sagging pants=please have sex with me and that “studs” are tops because they “act like men”. This guy needs to stay away from women in general. After all, I can usually think of one reason why men hate talking about male violence. It’s because they don’t want to look in the mirror.Omg SERIOUSLY, lesbians aren’t oblivious to the cruelty of men just because we personally are attracted to women. Many lesbians have dated men before coming out, have fathers and brothers and uncles, watch our bi/straight female friends being mistreated by their male partners… it goes on and on! And yeah the whole comparing butch women to men thing is just… No. Even in abusive lesbian relationships there is no correlation between the level of “masculinity” and the abuser. -- source link
