This is a Portuguese Man of War, also known as a bluebottle!It is not actually a jellyfish, and is in fact a huge colony of specialized polyps!Actually, if you ever get stung by one, specify that you got stung by a Man'oWar, not a jellyfish, as the toxins are different and treatment is slightly different : PThey are also bilaterally symmetrical which is cool for Cnidaria but I guess the polyps are radial, but whatevs, let me have my moment. -- source link
