ourladyoflace:vinceaddams:A few nights ago I got really excited about the idea of painting with speedball fabric printing ink (meant for silkscreening but it’s the consistency of paint) and I wanted to see if it could be used like watercolour. It can!I used a very smooth, fine, and tightly woven piece of cotton. It might be ticking or sheeting, I can’t remember which. I’m so happy with the amount of detail I was able to get! This portrait of Dave Vanian is about 4 inches tall. And after heat setting the ink it’s completely washable. This is amazing!Oh right, I forgot I still need to sew this onto something! -- source link
