misadventured-piteous-overthrows:peonyandbee:I’ve been scrambling around trying to get everything in or protected before tonight’s frost. Actually, tonight isn’t the bad night (tomorrow it’s dipping into the low 20s), but better safe than sorry. I still have a tremendous amount of herbs out in the garden, and I’m trying to use them up before it’s too late. And so, inspired by the gorgeous herb wreath wildhobbitjam so graciously gifted me last year, I decided to make some of my own. I had enough rosemary to make two 12″ wreaths, and there’s still enough sage and thyme outside to make about four more if I really wanted to. I’m going to pay it forward and gift these to my mom and aunt. Here’s hoping their kitchens will smell as amazing as mine does. These are beautiful! They are gorgeous, I’ll have to keep this in mind for next year. @peonyandbee - what’s your hardiness zone / general location? I’m in zone 6, western NC and we’re having similar weather. It’s been a mad frenzy to get ready - light frost last night but expecting hard freeze by monday, ugh. -- source link
