On the 18th of February, she was ransferred to Buffalo General Medical Center. When taken to the hospital, she had a broken arm, broken ribs, severe dehydration, and a blood clot in her leg. She didn’t receive nourishment for days. However, Sheriff Timothy Howard claims that a “medical event” occurred and that he is satisfied with the “care” India received. The police officers and medical personnel have done exactly what you would expect them to do when a young Black girl dies in such a tragic and suspicious manner in county care… absolutely nothing.
