Gatewatch Watch: Heroes and Antiheroes I’ve been noticing something in the Magic stories lately, and I believe a pattern is emerging. I propose that each member of the Gatewatch is going to have an antihero planeswalker character to contend with. These antihero planeswalkers will all be enemy-color pairs, and each one will share a primary color with the Gatewatch members they come into conflict with. These characters won’t start as straight up antagonists (they do share a color after all.) They’ll all begin with a kind of “Stay out of my way or else” moment, but then escalate to something larger. We’ve seen two of these moments already, and I would speculate that the others will be coming. I believe these hero/antihero parallels will be: Liliana - Sorin Jace - Kiora Gideon - Nahiri Nissa - Garruk Chandra - Saheeli Those are my thoughts. What do the rest of you think? -- source link
