Homemade chicken nuggets, anyone? McDonald’s can’t touch these beauties, made using one of my new kitchen toys, an electric deep-fryer which I came across at Canadian Tire at half-price, and I just couldn’t pass up the bargain. All dark meat chicken thighs, marinated overnight in buttermilk, ponzu, cayenne, onion powder, white pepper, and other spices; then buzzed in a food processor, scooped into bite-sized nuggets, coated with flour, egg, bread crumbs; and into the deep-fryer basket for 4 minutes. Crispy golden crust, juicy tender well-seasoned meat. Some homemade barbecue or honey-mustard dipping sauce, what could be better. -- source link
