When I was 9 I began to binge and purge. This lasted until I was 14. I remember going into high school and thinking to myself what the hell I care what people think! Yeah I got teased but I wore what I wanted. I didn’t get asked to prom, but I went anyway. I even tried out to be a cheerleader, didn’t make it but I went to all the games. Through all the adversity I could have went back but I didn’t. I am an bulimia survivor. Understand that you are strong. You are worthy. And the picture that society has painted for what you should look like is false.
