Here’s my Pinkie Pie redesign!She has vitiligo, heterochromia, and is a pegasus however, she can’t fly due too her small wings.more on my redesign under the cut- Because the rest of pinkies’ family are earth ponies she didn’t learn the proper mechanics of flying until she had moved off the farm and into the cakes house. This doesn’t mean she didn’t try flying; this would never work due too her being born with very small wings. When she meets rainbow dash she immediately wants to become friends with her due to her cool girl persona and flashy flying.- I made pinkie a flightless pegasus that never really wants to fly and born too an earth pony family as a contrast too rainbow dash’s “lives and breathes flying”, only child, has pegasus parents. I figured this could add more depth to there relationship and could make some good plot points.- Pinkies’ hair is naturally curly, this comes from her fathers side which is also where the vitiligo and wings come from, the heterochromia comes from her mothers side. She is the only one of her siblings to take after their father color wise. Her mother always tried taming her hair however she eventually gave up and ended up just putting it in pigtails and braids.- I made pinkie look this way because I like her cannon colors but I also like the idea of g1 surprise being the g1 version of her, so I combined the two by giving her vitiligo, heterochromia and making her grandmother be surprise which is where she gets the vitiligo from.- With her cutie mark I added the 3 dots around the balloons to indicate the mane 6. I feel like the show should have done more with the girls connected cutie marks, it could have lead up to the cmc getting their cutie marks. I’m going to be doing the same thing with the rest of the 6′s cm’s.Feel free to share any headcanons or redesign ideas on her that you might have! -- source link
