gayscalyoctopus:panrysownik:Fuck it.Real talk.Do you remember this fight as a kid? The feeling you had, when you beat the Elite Four two times and you learned there was one last, truly legendary challenge at the end? This childhood memory, this challenge, the only person you could thank for it was Satoru Iwata. A programming legend. He was so good, he himself fitted a whole new region and this ending into the cartridge of Gold & Silver. My fondest memory, one of the defining gaming moments of my childhood - it was all thanks to Iwata.Show some respect people, any way you can, but show it - a real legend passed away, and some of you just think it was another CEO that sat there because he wanted money. He was behind everything we love about Nintendo. And now he’s gone.Write to Nintendo, send a drawing, do anything - but let’s show them we know Iwata was someone more than just another “RIP miss you”.G/S were such inspirational games and they’re still my favorite games to date- part of the reason being that there were two regions in one game. Thank you Iwata! -- source link
