Such a treat to run into the amazing @thegiantevent today. I was leaving the incredible @fahamupecou exhibit at @emoryuniversity’s @carlosmuseum & she was headed in for an artist talk. Having met her when she was serving as an advocate for women & girls when I was writing an @EbonyMagazine piece on #sextrafficking in Atlanta & witnessing her matriculate through @Spelman_College (with her daughter!), it is so inspiring to now see her working on her divinity degree at @CandlerTheology. As always, we hugged numerous times, talking over each, exchanging quick updates on our marvelous children & our frenzied, but satisfying lives.
