andythelemon:AU where Merida is a WoC in modern day NYC with mixed Scottish and African-American heritage, and she joins the local archery club at her dad’s encouragement despite her mother trying to get her into embroidery and sewing. And she not the least bit interested in boys. Yah.Don’t get me wrong I really liked Brave and Tangled and I’ll probably see Frozen, but as a WoC I’m definitely more than a little disappointed Disney isn’t going for more diversity in their princess films.
