200 pounds beauty This is a 2006 romantic comedy movie is based on the Japanese manga “Kanna-san”/ “Daiseikou Desu” by Yumiku Suzuki; co-starring Kim Ah Joong and Joo Jin Mo 주진모. It is about a overweight girl called Han-na whom dreams to be a pop-star but cannot become one, since she is of course overweight and therefore is a back stage ghost singer for a famous pop singer named Amy, a singer who has a horrible voice. In the meantime, while she is not working as a ghost singer, she is a sex employee. Han-na is also in love with the music producer Sang-joon but he is not in love with her, which is rather considered as a one-sided love. One day, she gets a red dress addressed from the music producer inviting her to wear it at his birthday party. The dress is quite tight and exposing and revealing and she felt very uncomfortable wearing it. At the night of his birthday party, she enters wearing the dress he bought for her, but suddenly she also sees someone else wearing the same exact red dress, it was Amy. Han-na becomes really emotional by the incident and disappears for one year. She then returns back as a completely new person. Would the people she know recognise her or not?  I can´t count how many times I have seen this movie.
