This week I’m going to be focusing on rewilding. Rewilding is where you connect back to nature and well, the wild!As humans we have built great cities and concrete societies where we can feel safe within four walls. However, now we seem to have reached a point where we are trying to reach out to our more spiritual sides to fill a gap in our beings - but we’re still within those four walls!For example, practices like yoga have had an upsurge recently and whilst the physical health benefits are profound, it is difficult to get the full experience when your mat is in your spare room. Similarly, the practice of Zen is not all about sitting meditation (zazen) but about the flow of energy and chi which comes with more physical practice and connection to the outdoors.We are creatures on this earth at the end of the day and we lost a bit of ourselves from staying inside. Whilst I appreciate at the moment the pandemic does not help matters, rewilding is not about going to densely populated places but finding your own quiet space in nature!So this week go out and experience nature and if you take a snap or a video please tag me, I do love seeing photos of all things naturally beautiful.
